Websites

A website you own outright, built by the person who answers the phone

I write it, build it and host it, and I tell you before we start what it costs and what it does not include. The website is the anchor for everything else I do for you: the marketing feeds it, the AI runs behind it, and it is the one digital asset that stays yours when a platform changes its rules. WordPress sites start from $2,500 and static sites from $1,200.

Your choice

WordPress or static: you choose who does the updates

Both work. The right one depends on how hands-on you want to be.

WordPress

You edit it yourself

Pick WordPress if you want to change text and images, add pages or write blog posts without waiting on anyone. It is also the only choice for e-commerce. The upfront price is higher because the build includes the editor setup and a training session so you can run it with confidence. From $2,500, or from $5,000 with WooCommerce.

Best for

  • You want to publish your own updates and blog posts
  • You sell online
  • You expect the site to grow with new pages and features

Static

I edit it for you

Pick static if you would rather send me the change and have it done. A static site costs less upfront and builds faster, because there is no editor to configure and nothing to train. It is built for me to maintain, so the Care + Content Bundle at $100 a month is included with every static site and is not optional. The site is still yours on final payment, as the bundle covers hosting and my time rather than the site. From $1,200.

Best for

  • Up to about six main pages, plus any news posts, gallery photos or listings you send me to add
  • You want the lowest upfront cost and the quickest launch
  • You never want to log in to anything

Prices

Where prices start

Every quote starts with a questionnaire about your business, so if yours comes in above the starting price, you can see why before you see the number. If you want the site to take bookings or ask for reviews by itself, pair a Static Site with an Automation Build from the AI page: from $2,100 upfront, with hosting and updates at $100 a month. The upfront cost can be spread over 12 months under a signed agreement, with the Care Plan included for the term.

How payment works

How it works

What a build includes

  1. Discovery

A questionnaire about your business, customers, services, brand, story, competitors and what you have online today. Your answers drive everything that follows.

  2. Strategy

A baseline snapshot of where you rank and what Google and the AI engines currently see, then an SEO + AEO plan for the new site.

  3. Brand

A tone and voice guide, a sitemap and a design and layout brief, written from your answers. These are my working documents; you see the result of them in the first draft.

  4. Copy

Every page written by me from your answers and optimised for search and AI answers. Schema, privacy policy, llms.txt and GA4 lead tracking are set up as part of this step, not sold as extras.

  5. Build

Built mobile-first on my design system, with the copy in place, so what you review is the real site and not a mockup.

  6. First draft and revisions

You see the whole site on a private link, copy and design together, and this is where your feedback happens. Go through it page by page and send me the changes in one list. Three rounds of revisions are included; further rounds are quoted. On jobs over four weeks the first draft is the middle payment milestone.

  7. Verification

A live crawl, a mobile pass, a speed test and a cache check before you see the word "launch".

  8. Launch and check-ins

The site goes live on final payment. I check it against the baseline at four weeks and again at twelve.

Refresh

Already have a site? Refresh it

A refresh takes the site you have and brings it up to my current standards. Usually that means a site someone else built, moved onto my stack: WordPress, or converted to static where that suits how you work. I apply my design system only where it improves the site, keep what works, and fix what does not. A refresh makes your site eligible for the Managed Hosting + Care Plan, Content Updates, or the Care + Content Bundle. From $1,500, quoted after the same questionnaire as a new build.

Extras

Included where you need them

Part of a website package, not sold on their own.

Branding

A written guide covering your logo (refined if it needs it), colours and type, so the website and everything after it match.

Google Business Profile

Set up or tidied up, with categories, a review response process and the first posts.

Google Workspace

Email on your own domain, set up and handed over, with billing passed to you after the trial.

Domain registration

About $30 a year, invoiced by me and managed through Brella Tech.

Features

No limit on what it can do

Bookings, memberships, ticket sales, a kitchen specials board that the venue updates from a phone, a client portal, a product configurator. If your business needs it, the website can do it, either through a system that already exists or something I build for you. The portfolio shows what that has looked like for other people.

Questions

Website questions

Do I own the website?

Yes. The site, the domain and your accounts are in your name from final payment, so if you ever leave, they go with you. A static site comes with the Care + Content Bundle, which pays for the hosting and my time rather than the site itself, so if you leave you take the files with you and the bundle simply stops.

How long does a website take?

A static site usually takes two to four weeks from start to launch, a WordPress site three to six depending on its size, and an online store or a site with custom features such as a membership community up to eight. Those are averages that assume the information I ask for comes back quickly, so your quote gives you a start date and a completion date, and if I cause a delay, the completion date moves by the same amount.

Do I have to write the words?

No. You answer a questionnaire about your business, your customers and your services, and I write every page from your answers, optimised for search and AI answers. You then see it all on a private link with the design in place, and you send me your changes in one list.

Will my new website show up on Google and in AI answers?

Every build is set up for both, with an SEO + AEO plan, schema (code that tells search engines what each page is about) and GA4 lead tracking included rather than sold as extras. Nobody can honestly promise a ranking, so I build to best practice and then follow the data, because the way Google and the AI engines pick their answers keeps changing. I check the site against its starting point at four and twelve weeks, and if you want to climb further, the ongoing work is on the Digital Marketing page.

Do you only work in Brisbane?

No. I am based in Brisbane and work with people right across Australia, and everything from the first call to the check-ins happens by phone and email, so where you are makes no difference to the build. New Zealand and overseas are welcome too, with calls arranged around your time zone.

Let's talk

Ready to hand it over?

Book a 30-minute call and I'll tell you what it would cost and what it would not include, before you decide anything.

  • You leave with a price and a list of what it does not include
  • A 30-minute phone call at a time you pick
  • No sales follow-up unless you ask for it

Or start with a free website audit

Next you pick a 30-minute slot and leave the number I should call. Your details stay with me and are never shared.
